Is it huge, or is it only 30%?
These are all just rumours anyway.
Well the Samsung Series 9 already uses the chip that CNET is speculating will be in the MacBook Air, so we can compare its graphics performance.

Selling loss leaders is a very common retail tactic and is used by just about everyone (including Apple).
Very true.
Apple sells cheap songs in hopes that you'll buy an iPod.
Amazon sells even cheaper songs... ???... profit?

It wouldn't be too difficult for Apple to provide something like Rosetta for iDevice apps.
You don't need Rosetta, iOS is Intel 64 native. You get a copy with Xcode called the Simulator.

Well I guess Steve needs to get on the ball with a counter-product.
I wish Microsoft could be more innovative with their products.

This is all very interesting and I can discern the excitement amongst you that have an immediate use for this technology. For me, I am looking forward to a full implementation of Wine, or similar product, which will eliminate the need to load the Windows OS before running Windows programs. I do believe this will truly set OSX free.
Does anyone know if any of the emulators will allow MS Sql Server to run on an Xserve platform? What about Exchange or other backoffice applications?
Elegant post but sheesh!

There's a manual here:
http://www.vmware.com/products/beta/fusion/fusion_getting_started_100.pdf
The beta is probably floating around the Internets by now, if you know where to look. I can't confirm that directly, but these things do leak fast.Yeah it already is.

Munster goes along with this huh? well, that's enough for me to discredit it. I wouldn't mind having his job. The qualifications are apparently nil.

I have a white 32gb wifi in a sealed box that I want to exchange for a 32GB black AT&T. If anyone wants to trade plus difference in cash, let me know.
Would you be willing to sell it? Since you would have to wait in line to exchange anyways?
I have a friend that is REALLY looking for a 32 gig white one. He leaves back to Arizona in a couple days, it would mean a lot if you considered it.

Ok, this thread is getting weird. Seriously, the BBW fetish thing grosses me out. It did back before I was in shape/thin and it still does now. There's nothing wrong with a little excess baby fat on a girl, that's cute. I'm talking 130-135 lbs on a girl that should weight 110. But as soon as cellulite/stretch marks/unnatural creases show up, it's game over.
That moon girl has nothing about her face that's cute.
Michael Phelps consumes 13000 calories/day, but he's a world-class athlete, not a world-class cow.
That's of course on days he's training. Event days, he probably needs less because he'll spend most of his time sitting and waiting for results/his turn. On days in his jammies on the couch resting, he's probably around a 2500 for metabolism because of his muscle mass.
It's important for anyone to figure out their base metabolism and to figure out how much they burn depending on what activities they do. That's how you maintain your weight. You can eat anything and everything, fat/sugar/alcohol, just as long as you keep your calories in check to not go over what you spend. That way your weight won't change, though if not eating right all the time, you'll have deficiencies in vitamins/fibers/proteins which your body needs and you'll just end up being hungry because these calorie dense foods are not filling at all.
Hence why there's no such thing as a "diet". Just eat right, indulge reasonably in any of the comfort foods you need, make sure calories in = calories out, and you're set for a healthy weight. There's no magic pill or magic recipe to it.

This says one thing. Apple is continuing to innovate, and that makes me smile. I would imagine that Apple is also a bit wary of carrion fowl such as creative who would swoop down on a market conquered by Apple, and demand a pittance because their own product was a failure.

Heh heh...yeah me too. Maybe that's what The Steve (tm) was referring to when he said that '07 was going to be one of the most exciting years for Apple yet.
Or it could just be a new colour range for the iPod nanos.
I don't think Apple will come out with a "consumer" tower for the foreseeable future. I think Apple's strategy is to make "consumer" products like the Mini which are made to look more like consumer electronic devices (e.g. look like a stereo or DVD players). A tower just does not fit that category. Apple makes the Mac Pro for professionals that will actually put in a specialized video or audio card for their *professional* work. And yes, a consumer like a gamer might want that expandability just so they can get the latest and greatest gaming video card, but Apple is *not* going to aim for that category anytime soon because: 1) it's a small fraction of the market compared to the overall consumer market, and 2) the PC owns the gaming market. And why would Apple want to go for the PC gaming market anyway? A disproportionate amount of gamers just build "white box" computers so they can optimize everything to their liking for the lowest cost, and that's *definitely* not Apple's market.

On the Software part of the wireless MM page, there is a picture that shows a stack of new options and a slightly redesigned preference pane - I hope those options aren't wireless-only, I just plugged in my MM and they aren't there.
Software Update coming??

pfft, this should not be front page news, hell not even second page... just a bunch of hearsay from a CR that knows nothing about it and speculates BS.
It's funny that it was reported and it's funny seeing people treat it as credible.

Obviously taking everything out of context, when we are dealing with the bleeding obvious there is no reason not to suggest it. I watched the video before reading the comments, so your point has no substance. You must have seen a lot of people having fits to be able to make such a confident judgement. Personally, having only lived with a severe epileptic in the household for nine years, I would unhesitatingly defer to you expertise. What do I know?

OMG, ROTFL!!!
This is HILARIOUS! We should send this to all our so-called "friends" who use Windows.
Well then...if this is the case, who needs XP or Vista? I may just install Windows RG on my macbook pro when I get it. And yes...we educated Windows RG users use only the best hardware. I'll be waiting for C2D too. :)
For me, it's either Mac OS Windows RG.

Looks like mostly bug fixes. Only thing new I have found is the result of putting a window out of focus.
iCal is still same design too.
Is there an option to make iCal look normal?

Don't you guys think that the iPod being overtaken is about as likely as Apple overtaking HP, Dell, and Gateway?
I just don't see it happening, Apple has a really high following when it comes to mp3 players and when people have had an iPod, they upgrade to a new iPod, not a Zune.

I love how so many fanboys love it when Apple makes money from expensive products. When your company rips you off you don't turn around and say good job keep it up. Why do you get mad a gas companies for charging you to much but not Apple.

Does this model support Jumbo Frames for a change? Why did Apple have to take that feature out, we could go for some cheap iMac Workstations for video editing!
