You went up in arms about the itunes logo, but when a mockup is truly horrible, you praise it? This is about the worst mockup i've ever seen.
Apple, please never ever put that awful backing on the iphone. ever.
You hip generation might like holes in your jeans and scratches on your phone, but I just think it's stupid. :p
Maybe they're afraid of yet again having to face the embarassment of having first bashed a design and said it looks like a cheap chinese knock-off and then doing a 180 degree turn when it turns out it's Apples own design, it's a precautionary measure.
(For the record, I never liked the 3G/3GS design, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the leaked iP4 images and loved it when it turned out to be the actual thing, and if this ugly abomination turns out to be an actual Apple product I loose all respect for Apple)

What's that other program that lets you run windows without an actual copy? Maybe I'll use that. Wait, are they even supporting Vista or just XP?

You cant really call what Apple has a cloud. Clouds are designed to span across multiple geographic locations...Apple has 1 datacenter, and zero experience running a cloud service. MobileMe runs on collocated equipment in someone else's datacenter.
Amazon on the other hand are excellent at working with the cloud.

I have an iMac core duo going at it. She isn't much with her 1.83Ghz but it'll be at it 24h a day. It's about to complete it's first WU after 1day 19hours. It sounds a bit long to me compared to the times a say reading the thread, is this normal?

360's main advantage is that it's the only console of the three to release the next generation version. They have a year's head start on the other two.
They're still losing money on the 360, but component costs will drop until they are making a profit on boxes. Don't forget, ALL consoles lose money when they first ship. With the original xbox, they never really caught up, but it looks like they will this time around. And with the PS3 shipping at an even higher price, there's less pressure for them to drop prices. As much money as MS has been losing, Sony stands to lose much more. If Sony doesn't get their act together, I could see MS and Nintendo driving Sony out of the video game business.
That's the goal, but so far they have yet to get out of the red on xbox and 360. And "ish"? You seriously just said that?
It does play GAMES at HD resolutions, right? The original post never said it plays HD dvd's.
Then it is an HD CONSOLE not an HD PLAYER. Player implies HD media.
