Best one in years...too bad they didnt release ilife though
I, too, was expecting iLife 07. I've got two gift cards just waiting to plunk down toward the purchase of a new Mac Pro. Besides iLife, I was hoping for a Mac Pro refresh, including a better graphics card, and the dual quad-core option, so the prices of the other processors would fall.

It was pixelated on the 27" iMac so I just created a new pic with the same BG color in the correct size and then added the picture int he middle. I can upload it if you need it.

Just where everyone is thinking of heading. Also does anyone know how the Apple store is going to do things since it's inside the mall?
I'll be hitting AT&T on Sheridan. Plan is to arrive early sometime Friday morning and then roll into work bleary eyed but victorious.

Thanks goodness Apple aren't infringing Samsung's "GPS" system... I'd much prefer to use GPS quickly and accurately, without having to root a device... then run an app to correct things! :D

When I recommend a song, and select other songs as references, the referenced songs no longer show up on the original song's page. The handle is listed, but not the recommended songs.

Do we all like price fixing ?
Apple products are too often kept at RRP - not sure if its always by agreements with apple - "don't discount more than 10% or lose authorised reseller status"
Obviously good for apple products, but not for the consumer.

How do we know that the extendable text box might not become an overlay of the page that wouldn't damage the design? As you tab out or deactivate the box, it shrinks back to size. I'm sure this design has been thought through more in Cupertino than most people have spent here in the past hour.

I know somebody is going to wonder why it’s a day early for them. That’s because if I read it right, this says (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UTC%2B14:00) it’s August first somewhere.
I skipped a month but I’m back. I’ve not changed much, only added a few geektool scripts. I would love if somebody would suppy me with white AirPort and iChat menu extras. I still don’t feel like it’s done though, so let me know if you have any ideas for it.

I use AIM and Gmail with iChat. It works fine. I never chat with my .mac account.
What if the rumored mapping or phone stuff that might be part of Leopard is only for .Mac users?
.Mac users can call people from their computers or get .Mac Earth or something similar.
Also, iCal needs to go online (add, edit, etc. from the Internet), storage needs to go way up, etc.
Give me something AOL and Google don't.
AOL just announced something that allows you to back up 5GB of data. .Mac gives you 1 GB. AOL is free, .Mac costs $99. I understand there are other features, but AOL has most of them too. It's not worth the $$ until some major improvements happen.
