Dear All,
I just received a FP notice for my wife scheduled for Sep 19, 2007. I have not received mine yet (I am the primary applicant), I have a few questions regarding this. Please help me if you have any information.
1. Is it normal for the primary applicant to not receive FP notice at the same time as dependent?
2. Can my wife get it done without me getting an FP notice?
3. Can I get my FP done on the same day as my wife even though I did not receive my FP notice?
4. I have filed for I-485, EAD and AP, will we both receive an FP notice for all 3 applications or it is just one FP for all applications?
Please help us with your expertise. Thank you very much for all your time.

Guys,
The doc I went to for the medical exam gave me Chicken Pox and MMR Vaccine. But for Tetanus, as I took one in 1999 , the doc said since its valid for 10 years I don't need one. He went by my word and filled the vaccine supplemant form accordingly.
My doubt is I did not have any wrriten records to show that I took this vaccine in 1999.
Does USCIS requires the civil surgeon to provide the vaccination record document along with 693 & vaccination supplement form? or does it just go by what the civil surgeon mentions in the supplemental form?

I am a 7/27 filer and my checks got cashed on Friday. So, do not worry there are a lot of people who have not got their notices.

My wife had applied for H1 last year through one desi employer. We received the H1. The employer took initial money from us to pay for the H1 fees promising that once project got started he would pay back. But during search for a project he mentally harassed us a lot. Luckily my PD became current, my wife got EAD and we could work independently. We were thinking of complaint against him to DOL. We have even prepared the case with all the documents and everything.
We were ready to send it but yesterday we came across a case of one Vishal Goyal who sued Patni for paying him low wages. Patni then threatened to harm his family in india if he doesent withdraw the case.
We are just afraid of something like that. I request people to please share if they have been abused by desi employer and if they have sucessfully complained to DOL and their experience in what they went through. Thank You.

There was no agreement signed. It was just agreed on an email. Am i still bound with the emplyment laws. Just want to understand before taking any steps. Also the project has ended after 4 month but i don't have any document. Also company B can't reveal any internal documents.

The only time they keep an original is the first time. After that they never keep the original but return it to you when you return.
My wife and I only had 2 AP originals when we applied last year and made 2 trips outside the US. So relax and dont worry. You're fine.

My I-140 and I-485 also has different A numbers. I had 2 more approved I-140s which has different A numbers as well. How and when will get consolidated to a single file?

But I think it's thanks to CBN who pulled the consulate to Hyd when they were debating to have the consulate in Hyd or Bangalore. From what I know YSR govt just boomed up the realty prices but nothing else, though realty went up in other parts of the country too.
PS: I'm not very sure if it was CBN who got the consulate to Hyd but just expressed my thoughts as we are talking about consulate/Hyd/how proud we should be etc in this thread.For those who know better or disagree with me please feel free to do so by posting in the thread but not by giving red/accompanying mssgs. These days I'm so cautious that unless absolutely sure I don't take any chances with posting on threads so as to avoid upsetting people even remotely. Felt it's been long since I've been easy on IV threads..so I'm posting on this thread :)

It is the first contract between Company (B) and my husbands company (A). Above all my husband himself found this project.
Above all, the contract between Company (B) and Company (A) does not mention the end client name, and the contract seems to be a general contract, basically saying that my husband is rendering services to Company (B).
I will really appreciate all the help and guidance.

I appealed AAO and got REF in Jun'09, In RFE, Is institute, I got PG diploma,
is recognized by university, (I got Diploma from institute affiliated by University of Madras). I got diploma 20 yrs. back, approached university they told, institute is no longer affiliated by university last 5 years, they refused to give letter even though it was recognized when I graduated.
I got letter from institute in sealed envelop stating, my Diploma is recognized by university of madras,
It took 2 months to reply RFE, after 1 month I-140 got approved
Here is my case history,
Came to US : Aug.2000 on H1
First Labour : Apr'03, Labour Approval : Jan'07
First I-140 : Filed : Feb'07 Denied : May'07 (Based on 3 yrs. Degree) , Appeal : AAO, Approved : May'10 with one RFE
Second Labour : EB3, Oct'07, Labour Approval : Mar'08
Second I-140 : Jun'08, Approved : Apr'09
Counting days to file 485 , but with current date movement, I am going to retired on H1 visa.

I had 2 RFE's related to photo's only. One for AP(1st time). The next one for EAD.
You got to be extra cautious with digital picture's. First time for EAD, digital got accepted and RFE for AP.
I took digital pictures once in CVS and once in another store.
Nowadays I go to a protraits shop and get a polaroid.
Digital are fine, but there are some quality requirements. Check these sites for more details

Proves that we are not cheap labor and we are not driving the salaries down. I know citizens in my position in my company are not being paid more than me. We had waited for three months to fill a position and we have to compromise in the end because we could not get enough resumes to go through.

yes, you can. I did it last summer. the first officer at the border did not know the rule and said we could not enter, then an older officer came and said we could. they let us in with expired visa but approved h-1b extension notice
