My app was received by NSC on 24th July and looks like NSC is processing August apps. Even, if my app got transferred to TSC, it should have been processed by now according to USCIS report on RN processing. I am not sure, what to do ?
Filed on Jul 24th at Nebraska ,No receipts yet, chq given by company so no info on chq being cashed.

Is it really necessary to inform USCIS of change of address.
Do mails,notifications or cards from USCIS get forwarded to the new ADDRESS like all other mails.
Will appreciate your views.

I am not well aware of what is to be done. But isn't it a good idea to mail USCIS explaining the situation and possible extension you may need. This keeps USCIS informed about your situation in advance.

You mean I have to ask somebody to mail me the new extension when it is approved, so that I will not have trouble at the port of entry? Can you check how long your visa stamp valid? Since I have made an interview appointment at US embassy in my country in early June. If it only lasts to June 30, I will cancel the interview. Thanks again.

EndlessWait I hope ur wait will end soonI can't sleep all night.. cmon atleast give us few options.
My take on the permanent solution:
1. Recapture lost visa numbers
2. Medical tests are going to be valid indefinitely
3. Ppl who've worked for X years automatically can apply for I-485
5. All can apply as per the old bulletin
6. ????

try POJO method to reach IO. You can find in "n" number of threads to reach IO based upon your service center. but it's based on your luck to get polite and cordial IO. Try multiple times and speak politely.

Now enter your receipt number SRCxxxxxxxxxx
Voice asks if SRC press 1
Then reads out application number, if correct, press 1 (now listen to the case update info..blah blah)
Part way through the blah blah press 3
Wait a moment and press 4
(now if you hear a male voice telling you that no IO is available, it will redirect it to National Customer Service Center (NCSC) you can cut the phone.. and try the same steps)
You should hear "You have reached the TSC of USCIS�" OTHERWISE you have been bounced to NCSC. NCSC only sees what you see when you login to check case status at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp i.e. you will not get any useful information out of them.
Once you get an IO, be very polite, and take notes for your records. Ask them for their badge number. That way you can reference each conversation by date and the badge number of the IO.
Some of the standard questions:
1) Name check Status ?
2) Background Check Status ?
3) Has it been assigned to an officer ?
4) When can I expect to get some updates on my case ?
5) Can you help me with a ball park date on when my case will be assigned to an officer?

Actually I have opened up a ticket to resolve the issue. Some how the variable is false and not generating the email. Now assigned to the programmer group.

Hi,
My client is a TARP fund received bank.I am planning to go India for 3 weeks in may.My visa expires in Aug09.
I have new H1 extension for 3 years.
--If I go for visa stamping will it be a problem as I am workig for TARP received bank.
--If I don't go for visa stamping and planning to comeback with old visa, will it be a problem at Port Of Entry as my client is TARP received bank and I am on H1B.
There is no rule in paper yet not to allow H1B workers in TARP to enter USA. Having said that, you belong into the category of every other legal H1B immigrant.

Iam on H4 and my visa expired on oct 31 '06 , I have applied for extension on oct 20 '06 , but havent got my extension yet, I have another problem my passport is expiring on Feb 13 '07. WIll be going to Houston to get my fresh passport this weekend.
I have to visit India this month end and have booked my tickets with delta, from US to India via Paris(France).
I have 3 questions :
1. Do I Need an airport transit visa since iam travelling via France ?
2. How long will it take to get my fresh passport if I applied over the counter on emergency system (Tatkaal)
3. Can I travel with an expired H4 visa ?
Please Help ???

It Looks somebody pointed out earlier that Adjudicator need to see Currentness of FBI background check, and for 2004/05 cases it was stale data, hence they reordered the Check. While for 2006, Background check might be current.
So say during September, 2008 VISA Bulletin they move Priority date to 2007, we'll see Lots if 2007 cases Approved.
then why is'nt NSC approving 2006 cases at the rate at which TSC is?
Its not just what year petitions are getting approvals, the two service centers are taking different approaches. That makes a mockery of the visa bulletin. Its almost NSC giving the middle finger to DOS saying, we dont care where you move dates, we'll approve whatever petitions we wnat, at whatever rate we want.

My EAD is going to expire in 3 months and I am filing for my renewal now. What can be done if you don't get the EAD renewal response before the expiry of the current one ?
I heard somewhere, that if you don't receive the renewal notice within 60 days, then you can approach the local USCIS office and get a temporary EAD card for 90 days.
Anybody knows more ?
Also, generally do folks approach their lawyers for extension filing or they do it themselves?

Talk to employer and tell him to your wages immediately. You shouldn't care about client or any one else. If you left the company then he should pay you withing 15 days. If he says he will pay after two months 3 months then he will just changed his address and you wont be able to track him down.
So talk to him and tell him if you dont receive a check in 1 week you will file a complaint in DOL wages and service division and also file a lawsuit in court too.

Did any one get an RFE to prove educational qualifications for EB3.
I did. And i think its because my lawyer didn't include my degree evaluation. Once we sent that i got approval immediately.

No., you do npot qualify for EB-2 Unless you do a 3 years MAsters from India or a 2 yrs Masters from a U.S. intitution.
