A little too much desaturation, I think. Since you've kept as much red in her top as you did, you should keep a little bit of the color in her skin, otherwise it looks a little unbalanced. Her skin looks too cool in comparison.

We like to share that the H1B cap is extremely close to being reached. The count as of December 15, 2009 is 64,200. This is 1300 cases more than the count from December 11th. This count is very close to the total cap of 65,000 which is actually somewhat reduced by numbers allocated under trade agreements. We continue to watch this very closely, and will provide updates until the FY 2010 cap is reached.
We suggest to act quickly to avoid last minute embarrassment as H-1B Cap may soon be cease to exist.

Today's news that Indiana Democratic Senator Evan Bayh will be retiring is probably bad news for much of the Democrat's legislative agenda. But when it comes to immigration, this is probably a good news day. Bayh's last vote on comprehensive immigration reform was a bad one. He voted with anti-immigration Senators to filibuster the 2007 version of comprehensive immigration reform and there is little reason to believe his vote in 2010 would be different. On the other hand, Senator Lugar, his Republican counterpart from Indiana, is a much more likely vote in favor reform. Bayh may feel freer to vote...

I had already gotten my USDOS approval and my USCIS approval for my J waiver. The whole process took less than a month which surprised us! But it was stated on the I-797 that I should start working for my employer within 90days from March 19, which will be June 19. The problem is my training program does not end until June 30. Even if I wait until June 19 to file for my H1B, and if I don't go for premium processing, once they approve it and retro-date it, there will be an overlap from June 19-30. Can I apply for the H1 on June 30 instead (when my J expires) but that will be more than 90 days from March 19? I will appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

My EAD got approved today. It is in card production stage.
I am wondering if mutli year EAD if effective immediately. If so, I will be getting EAD that is valid for 3 yrs or mutli years right?
Friends, I appreciates your inputs.

Massachusetts Republcian Scott Brown's web site has a pretty harsh position paper on immigration - the typical tea party-esque xenophobia one expects from the far right. All about enforcement and nothing about dealing with the millions of immigrants currently hear without status (other than deporting them all) or reforming our broken legal immigration system. Brown has been portraying himself as a moderate, but those in the Bay State who consider themselves pro-immigration should pay heed. More telling is the ringing endorsement Brown got from anti-immigrant ALIPAC. Hopefully, Brown will either lose or he's planning on taking a more moderate approach...

Hi All,
I have a simple question.
I have my I-140 approved with some kind of receipt number.
My lawyer filed my I-485 and it reached NSC on Aug 9, 2007.
I have not recd. any I-485 receipt notice or number yet.
Can i still track my I-485 progress using my I-140 receipt number on
the USCIS website somehow ?
Thanks for your answers.

Delaware Immigration Lawyer Blog Has Just Posted the Following:
Some decisions and cases support that a corporation even if it is owned and operated by a single person may hire that same individual in an H-1B capacity. This is based on the concept that the corporation is a separate legal entity fron its owner. However, self-sponsored H-1Bs are subject to careful review. The parties have to prove existence of a bona fide employer and employee relationship.https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1142140030762969806-934276915910839855?l=deimmigration.blogspot.com

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union International, one of the country's major unions, was upset about how raids were conducted in 2006 at Swift meatpacking plants around the country. So they did something about it. They created a commission of experts to hold hearings about work site raids and this week they released their findings in a report entitled Raids on Workers: Destroying our Rights. According to the UCFW: This commission was formed to examine allegations of abuse and misconduct by ICE agents during the course of immigration raids, said Joseph T. Hansen, founding chairman of the commission and...

Dear All:
My wife who is on currently in the US on H4 has recently received her H1B approval. Her H1B is valid from 01-Oct-2007 to 23-Sept-2010.
When we applied for the AOS in July 2007, we mentioned that my wife's current status was H4 (which I am thinking is still true as her H1B starts only on October 2007). My question is will this create an issue when USCIS is adjudicating our AOS applications.
Any information on this issue would be appreciated.

Who decides on the classification of an EB 2 or 3?
I have a masters degree and when filling my residency it was specify in the position, is it something my lawyer should have requested or Immigration decides when they receive the documentation?
Thanks

Yes, she should have her I-797 approval of extension and principal applicant Notice of action. If you are not traveling, make sure you make a copy of everything.
