So you're assuming that Apple are merging both stores into 1 and that developers have had time to implement universal binaries that run on 2 different frameworks and submitted the result to the app store ?

I love this image, it is sooooo over the top for one mouse. If it was even a mac mini it would look more appropriate, but a mouse on a table with white paneling on all sides is in my opinion really idiotic.

Wonder how much the upgrade will be for iMac/tower buyers. And will it be a bundle with the BT keyboard, or available separately?

By definition, having alternatives makes Apple NOT a monopoly.

I would argue they helped themselves. They may have needed some sort of boost but they helped themselves. Someone can make a conscious decision to help themselves if they are strong enough. No one is addicted to alcohol. I would argue people are not addicted to drugs. Mind over will. Try it. Like Charlie said that Nike says, Don't attempt it, "Just Do It".

Apple has great products, but we are going to be experiencing more than a recession. Donald Trump stated that what was going to happen in North America is going to make Russia look like a picnic during world war 2. The CEO of Wall-Street stated two years ago that there will be a world economic crash worse than what happened during the 1930's due to the amount of debt. The European Union Banks stated 1.5 years ago that they were preparing their banks for a world economic collapse. Unfortunately most of us are living the status quo and do not want to acknowledge that our way of life is going to drastically change. Unfortunately even a company as great as Apple will not be able to retain the level of what the stocks are worth even at todays low. My advice is pay of your debts... sell your stocks while you still have money, sell your home and then when the collapse occurs then invest.

The nicest thing about a Cocoa app is that it looks and behaves like every other Cocoa app. There is a sort of consistency in behavior. Things that look almost like a Cocoa app, but don't quite behave that way annoy me.
But what'll make VMware faster is the better support for multi-core processors and allowing the VM to take advantage of that.

I did that but it still does not work. I rebooted my macbook, installed the latest security updates, wiped my 3GS, tried restoring and then updating to 4.3.2 - same thing just happened.
I fixed it on my end - it was my work's firewall. The wired internet is firewalled really hardcore, but the wifi is not - it verified on the wifi. If you're still having issues, maybe it's your work's firewall or your own.

The bottom line is that this is just one more EULA violation that people will ignore on a daily basis, unless MS implements some way of enforcing it.
