So what? That doesn't make it an HD-DVD player. And if you think the Xbox 360 is the only piece of hardware that can upscale standard DVDs to 720p, think again.
The only thing helping the Xbox 360 right now is the fact that it's the only next-gen console on the market right now.

add to that AAC is not exactly a free. It has licencing cost to it. Mp3 is complete free and open.

It might be possible to fool me when it comes to a transvestite, but it is hard to hide big hands, an adams apple, and wide shoulders, among other things.
I have none of those things, never have, a large portion of transsexuals don't either.
I think you have things somewhat confused, transvestites are typically the ones with big hands, wide shoulders, adams apples etc as they don't take female hormones and typically never have surgery, they simply crossdress.
You seem more than anything just plain misinformed, like you have some exaggerated idea of what being transgender actually means. Put simply you only notice the transgender people you notice, so to your eye you may casually cast us all as obvious. I used to think similarly myself, it came as a great surprise to me that transgender people for the most part live fairly normal mundane lives.

You guys are to pessimistic. I wouldn't be surprised to see Apple add a matte finish screen to the IMAC or even a smaller bezel. After all just sticking a faster chip in it is not going to cut it.

Any idea where the best place for a black 16 wifi would be? I think that's all I really need, no 3g and i'll only have apps, maybe a movie here or there when traveling, no? Brea is the closest to me but it sounds like a battlefield, i'd prefer a Best Buy since I have giftcards but my recent time spent there makes me feel like i'd rather spend the money in gift cards to not have to go there again.

'Microsoft's Zune - Long Term Effort'... yeah, in R&D. 3-5 years time for a product is crazy. The market wont want what they will have on offer in that time. Its like that origami or whatever it is. Something that cropped up on MR, and then disappeared. no one cares.

So many people just love to see every issue from the Apple perspective. There are people who get paid for that. Should not you - as a consumer - care more about the gadget you want than Apple success?

As for some results, I really can't post performance results, but I can say that this competition in the virtualization market is good and we should be getting an excellent product for VMware (hopefully, if they give us a more of a workstation than a player).

yes i understand the point. but i don't find a reason.
and yes, i do have all the computers in my household contributing to my personal team.
i can't 'compete'. the whole thing is basically it's whoever has a very nice computer/folding rig, or whoever has a nice computer and doesn't use it, but leaves it on to fold. so technically it's not 'competing' because they are computers, you aren't actually doing any work besides for setting up the actual client, and having it run well on your machine.
