I agree. I think iPhone 5 will be if not literally then at least from feature perspective "iPhone 4S".
And I agree with you. I think it would make sense to call it iPhone 5 though - I think the "ProductName ProductVersion#" naming convention Apple has started using lately makes a lot of sense and is way simpler to understand for the average Joe than something like iPhone 3GS.

That is a SERIOUS board. I'm from the old school of Schmidt Stixx and Powell & Peralta. I'm looking for a board with totem poles on either side of a temple. I'm unsure which of those companies made them Stixx or Peralta but its hasn't been in production since 87. if anybody knows and can find the name/picture it would be helpful (Yes these where the days when the young adult Tony Hawk ripped the scene just prior to showing that the 720 was possible and doable with STYLE).
My wish list:
1) Have my current job past February 2011 - was granted I'm here until May 2012. OT is looking up and a raise. I can NOW finally invest and debt is getting paid and lower :D .
2) I'd LOVE to have a 13" MBP with a Core i5 and equal or better than 310/310M Nvidia that is current. My Al_MB is pushing hard in Logic Pro 9.0.1.
3. and most important wish:
1 WEEK during this Xmas holiday's ... to have
a) EVERY poor child under 19 fed healthy and hearty!
b) Every homeless person to have above and a warm & safe shelter and shower, a swap for smelly clothes! I HATE having to not go into a store or shun them on the subway because they SMELL so bad. They ARE still human beings and nobody is above them. Sure most made STUPID decisions to end up that way, or life was harsh all at once and no recourse to be a bum. I STILL remember not too long ago I lived in a shelter for 1.5yrs had nothing more than 3 days of clothes no job and no money. I stole for used clothes only and ate when I could BUT I worked my ASS off to get the ********* job and go back to school. MANY of you that have wealth take things for granted and within just a few days can loose it all. BUMS have one thing going for them ... either they don't know HOW or just self respect society NOT to attempt robbing a bank. if successful they can clean up - if not then at least food and shelter is gauranteed, even some basic health needs are covered - but it puts a strain on our taxes.
c) FAMINE to be put to a ground STOP in ALL the world just for a week.
#3 is an important wish to my heart - I have no resources to do it myself, no energy to convince those with cash that its important and unfortunately hard to trust those doing it actually can have a life doing this for a few years and NOT get paid; yet enjoy travelling to so many countries. Look... I don't want to be a hater or anything like that but I have a first generation Ipod Touch... I got it as a present for my birth day, a month latter my wife have an Iphone 4 for her birthday so she sold her 3gs that i used to compare with My phone, the nexus One, look guys I need to be honest here, I got FULL Flash in my phone since it came out in the app market , and so far NOT a single problem with it, I remember when Jobs says it is not possible for a mobile device to have flash blah, battery drain, blah, poor performance blah, blah, blah... Dude flash is Awesome on my Android phone! no lag, no battery fast drain fast, no problems!!! do you guys have any tiny little Idea how @$#%^ cool it is going to www.newgrounds.com on my phone!? do you know!? or just playing online games like the ones on www.arcadepod.com? plus most of the apps are free!!! including that pathetic flash converter browser Skyfire that by the way is being in Android app market for like forever already!!! also it is sad that you have to Root (aka jailbroke) to get 20% more "liberty" with your phone! I already "convert" 4 Iphone users to Android at my job (400 plus workers) the rest are just plain envious of what android is capable of!!! without ROOTING!!! ahhh and don't get me starting in what you can do with a Root Android phone... My next Phone will be the Android HTC G2 that once rooted you can "BOST" to the phone to its real power........... 1.4 ghz!!!!!!!!!!!! I use Pages almost exclusively for writing documentation. We originally used Word, then moved to InDesign (my background was 8 years working in layout with Quark), and then to Pages. Pages just works better for long docs than ID and Word. I love it.
My only two beefs with Pages is the fact that its toolset is everywhere. You've got some toolbars which only really get you to some space hogging side views and inspectors which take up tons of space just for the one or two things I need to hit. Second, it needs a built in macro language - even if its based off AppleScript (i.e. an AS menu would do then). Having AppleScript support but not accessible within the app itself makes it much harder to deal with.
For example when I put in a graphic, I want to make it 2'' wide, shadow, move with text, wrap to the left with a black border. That's 4-5 panels I have to go through each time I add a pic. I add about 50 or so pics per doc.
So first I'd love if they could organize the menus, toolbars, inspectors, and such a lot better. Its just so haphazard. Next the ability to script repetitive actions.
Oh and speed. Even on my 2.16Ghz MBP its slow. Word 2007 (even in beta) is lightyears faster.

Old news, she tries to maintain a 12k calorie diet/day. She's going for a record. She was all the rage last summer.
Guilty or not guilty has nothing to do with eating right/wrong. Eat what you want, just make sure to keep your calorie absorption within limits (metabolism + physical activity) and you'll keep an healthy weight. There's nothing wrong with sugar/fat/alcohol and other non-"good for you!" foods and ingredients, it's just that these tend to be much more calorie dense and thus are much less filling per calorie eaten, so you end up ingesting much more to get that "full" feeling you should never get anyhow (if you fell stuffed, you over-ate).
It's all about quantity. I baked a cake and made some very delicious gingerbread cookies for christmas. I ate 2 types of "tourtieres" + turkey + deserts + tons of appetizers at the christmas diner. I didn't gain a single a pound.

OMG....I would NEVER take information as fact from an "ATT customer service agent". I have received so much wrong info or even been dare I say lied to, I would never trust what a random ATT rep said.
Not to mention, the service reps are so far down the chain of command, they would not have info on when the next iphone is being released.

B. Making something up to get you off the phone.
One of the many reasons I will never again give AT&T a dime of my money.

I know that you can never have too much disk space, but I'm wondering what the performance differential will be.
I'm currently running on a 7200 rpm 100 GB (with only 10 GB free), and either of the options in the new machines will be slower (but cooler and less battery hungry)... am I going to be unhappy with a 4200 rpm 200 GB drive? Does anyone know the cache size or any other specs for the 200 GB drive?
4200rpm is dog-slow. Go for the 5400rpm drive and use the money you saved for a nice big FW800 external HDD.

2) Decided on a new resolution that developers will have to adhere to, given that DVGA (double VGA) has been in use for a year and HVGA was in use for 4 years (3 exclusively).
Yeah, I'm not buying in to either

Parallels has been great, and I'm tolerating CrossOver. I'd just like CrossOver to be faster and more power, plus easier to use. Windows is one bicycle this fish doesn't need.

For me, nothing can be compared to a BACKLIT keyboard. If new mba owns one, I'll buy a 13-inch one immediately and set it as my primary computer. If not, I'll turn to a 13-inch mbp...
